Thousands of web developers are using their beloved tools to host files at their servers side. Many of them are trying to scan files but the majority is skipping it. Therefore, WinSCP is an effective client that can use several protocols to host files on servers with security and safety.

On the other hand, you can use it as a file manager where it’ll show a list of files under directories. The below screenshot looks crappy but there are 2 main frame windows. The right one shows the host or server address and left one shows a list of files and folders in the local hard drive. The bottom area is a progress bar where you can find queue, uploading and finished tasks.

It covers SCP, FTP and SFTP protocols to host files safely on the server side. This is why most people give priority to Win SCP because there are very low chances that hackers get spy on your server. Moreover, it’ll show helpful options in the right click menu of file explorer. So you can directly upload files on the server after logging in.

It’ll store credentials for a specific time period and you have the option to use storing session information. The program is also capable of syncing folders so it’ll never miss a single byte. There is a built-in text editor that will help you in viewing text files. Although, it’s a great FTP tool to host files in a safe way.
